8th grade 2012 Mid-Atlantic Regional Champions.

 

Our 8th grade team does it again, winning the 2012 Mid-Atlantic Championships.... Going undefeated on May 12 and 13th. Winning the championship against the Luzerne Lightning team from Wikles Barre, PA 58-34. "I am very proud of how all the girls played we have a few 7th graders so we were the youngest and often the smallest team all weekend "said Head Coach Alan Zerbe who has coached this team of girls for over five years.

This is the second time in as many years the Lehigh Valley Outcasts 8th grade team won this prestigious AAU tournament. "We hit our shots from the outside which meant our opponents needed to come out on us, once that happened it opened up the middle for inside shots and dribble penetration" Zerbe added.

AAU Has changed its Team Determination method once again.  It now reverts back to strictly Grade.
